It's Maya Glitters and today's post is all about sustainable fashion (eco - friendly fashion)!
1. Sustainably Optimistic Blog
If you aren't 100% sure how to actually help the environment, a really great resource is The "Sustainably Optimistic" blog. Founded by 14 year old Anne, she wants to educate other people (showing them that by incorporating a little bit of sustainability in their lives, they can make a difference). Check out Anne's blog here for more info!
2. Garment Streak Clothing
Garment Streak is a company selling slow - fashion clothing. This means that their outfits are not to be used once. Instead they are to be use multiple times (which helps the environment). Their t - shirts are over sized which also means they can be used multiple times. Fast fashion (wearing garments only once/a couple of times) contributes towards green house emissions which are also terrible for the environment. The reason for this is because of large factories/manufacturers. RE - USE!
